Been away for a while but have not been wasting my time!!

Here's my latest offering Japanese Liner 'Baikal Maru'. Built in 1921 for OSK line for the Kobe-Dairen short sea crossings and used subsequently as troop ship, hospital ship, whaling 'mother' ship finally broken up in 1968.

Model is scratch built using Evergreen strips over balsa wood core. Parts from Combrig (Lifeboats), Pit Road (collapsible life boats), Battlefleet (Capstan, winches) and Starling Models (vents).

Hope you like it

Nice little liner. The ship to the left in this picture from 1927 looks like an earlier OSK liner and this is very much the Dairen your Baikal Maru would have visited.
