Whew....... I am very happy that finally the 10 25mm triple AA mounts are done for the Yahagi. I have been folding these tiny things for two weeks ... hehehe the first few don't look as nice as the last ones, but this is a "learning and practice" build.
Now hopefuly she will be finished for this months IPMS San Diego meeting.
........... Back to the bench, I have 18 single 25mm AA to fold!!!

1/700 models make me shreak with confusion!

The smileys tell it's own story on what I'd do if I build a 1/700 ship:

Ahhhh, Yahghi is finished!! I was going to build her as in Operation TenGo (1945) using the Lacroix and Wells book on IJN Cruisers...... but after learning from Dan Kaplan that the referance I had was wrong..... I had some rethinking to do!!

Since I wasn't able at the time to get the corrections I needed thru scratchbuilding and some Joe World PE. I thought I would use this build to practice my skills in PE. And build another at a later date!!

Here she is 99% finished. Yahghi is mounted on a temp base for these pictures, I will put her and a DD in a case in water a little later.
I did learn a lot in this build!!
Hope she doesn't hurt your eyes viewing!!

HIJMS Yahghi in early 1944 (Dan would that time frame work??)

I suppose technically speaking, or should I say writing (posting?) 矢矧 or やはぎor ヤハギ would be a correct spelling.
