Thanks for showing us your photos. You have done an outstanding job! I really like your two models, especially this one, but both are great. Haven't see many models of the Bainbridge or Northampton. I don't think many here may even remember the Northampton. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Many thanks, so glad you like it! I like the US Navy ships during the cold war era, a bit modernization, and still had some WW2 style.

Great model!

Can you write something about the kit and how you improved it? Is the model built using the JAG kit?

Yes, it's JAG kit. I use scrapped parts and pe from other ships to made deck equipments, radar platforms, lifeboat holders and some other details, cut some 0.1mm acupuncture needles for antennas(It's made of steel and has good elasticity), also a friend gave me some 3D printing parts for ASROC and SAM launchers and CIWS, the details are much better than those resin parts. 3D printing is really amazing!

Thank you for the details on your built! Your model looks much better than what would be possible out of the box of the old JAG kit! :thumbs_up_1:

Does anybody know or have photos of USS Bainbridge's aft Terrier loading area? In her 1960's early 1970's form? I could not find photos from that part and from that era. Only this photo from 1963 showing the aft Terrier launch and parts of the deck visible with some sort of small hatches for realoading the missiles into the magazines:

While this 1963 january photo shows a weird structure just above and behind the aft launcher:

And this 1968 photo a sort of loading arm with what looks like the loading hatches at both side of the aftermost missile director radar:

I found some photos when I try to make the model more accurate. But these photos are from different era, hope it may help.
