Was this kit a scratch build? I know of no kits in resin or main stream plastic manufacturers in 1/200. Very nice build and paint.

Thanks
Yes, it is cardboard, so no painting is involved.

Really a good job. Tried a paper model once. Ended in disaster. :thumbs_up_1:

Now that is one sharp Fletcher. Love the photoshopped pic of her cutting a bow wave.

Why have you photographed the real ship in every shot then masked it as a model ? That Fletcher without doubt is the best I have ever seen :thumbs_up_1: and believe me, I've seen some Fletcher models. As always, I don't want to upset anyone, but come on, you've got to post more photographs of this model, and I dare say everyone would also want to know your stats, information of build time, material used, parts, up-grades. This model, yes I am going on quite a bit, then again, this is a fantastic looking ship. Well done !

Absolutely amazing! :thumbs_up_1: This really is one of the best large-scale Fletchers I've seen (which is saying something given the popularity of this subject) I'd certainly never have guessed it was a card model; you've managed to completely avoid the slightly flat, two-dimensional look structures assembled from card often have. The vertical lines on the lower hull are about the only giveaway.

I'll be happy if my (plastic) 1/144 Fletcher looks half as good as this

Roman,

Knowing that you are the mastermind behind DigitalNavy, and that you produce the best engineered card models does not detract anything from this one. It is absolutely fantastic ! :woo_hoo: :woo_hoo: :woo_hoo:

I am currently on other projects, and building skills in card models, but I cannot wait to get started on you Oregon and Oslabya kits which I got from your site !

Keep on the excellent work ! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Hubert
