Just wanted to show you a couple of pictures of Mayas bridge I kind of finished it today I still want to add some figures Im sure this will give it a nicer touch. I had to go over a couple of books AOTS, Maru Special I also checked a couple of models one of them was Claudio Matteiniss Maya this one sure helped me a lot.
Nice work. I'll be using this to help detail my 1/700 Maya.

Thank you very much guys, Ive been trying to do my best but you always find something thats not right either from the paint job to the details, I went over the pictures one more time and I found a couple of them . I also forgot about these:
Got to finish all 4 turrets today and Im halfway done with the smoke stacks, sorry for the low quality pics taking pictures in daylight is way better than at this time BTW the brass barrels are from Voyager.
Ive been kind of busy lately although I was able to do some work on the ship last weekend and this one. I remember saying once I wasnt going to cut off the hull bottom of the ship well I ended up doing it Im so used to work with waterline ships I cant stop it now . I added some of the Type 89 AA guns and these little babies look awesome. Ill post more pics next weekend.
Looking might fine, Jose. The Maya is my favorite of this class - she was very fierce looking with the added AA guns.

I hope to finish the rear mast by next week, Ive been taking my time in doing this ship Id say Im more than halfway done with the whole thing but I dont want to rush it Ive got nothing else to model after this baby so Im also killing time here . I dont know if you noticed but I stopped using acrylic gel medium as water I got tired of using it mainly I just wanted to try something else I didnt know where to turn to and then I remembered Bob Cicconi told me once he uses papier Mache so I just gave it a try and to tell you the truth this is best modeled water Ive done up to date. BTW, I didnt take any stern shots because I havent done much there besides painting the deck.
It was one those long sundays for me today , I went out fishing with my father and brother and even though I didnt catch anything I did get a suntan . After I got home I kind of finished the rear mast, fixed i'd say rectify some things one of those was the bridge's wind baffle, I also added some partial railings and retouched a couple of things with paint. I think little by little shes coming along pretty good.
First of all happy Saint Patrick's day it's kind of late now but I didnt want to go to sleep without showing you a couple of pics I took after I finished adding some things, the rear mast Id say is done if I had to add something else itd be some rigging but I think its looks decent like that, boats and davits are in place, wind socks are made out of paper in case you are wondering it was a real challenge painting and gluing them but I really wanted to add these so its just like the saying no pain no gain I did some work on the ships jackstaff, I also added some awning stanchions and even if its not accurate for the ship to have them on at that time Id like to add more of them I like the way these look on her.
