Originally this was just the thread for my HMAS Vampire, but I decided to add my builds of 2 E class destroyers, HMS Electra (H27) and HMS Express (H61). Building these 3 destroyers are supposed to kick off my project where I hope to recreate the Royal Navy's Force Z in 1/700.

These 3 destroyers comprised the destroyer screen of the ill-fated Force Z consisting of HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse.

Force Z actually had a 4th destroyer HMS Tenedos but she was detached before the Japanese air strike hit the fleet. I probably will add Tenedos in the future as soon as I can buy an HP kit of a similar S class destroyer.

Generic 1/700 RN railings were used with the Tamiya destroyer kits, but otherwise all were built as "out of the box".
