New to ship modeling-- this is my second 1:700 scale build. I used the Hobby Boss 1:700 scale USS Greeneville kit and Pit Road's 1:700 drydock kit to build a vignette showing the damaged Greeneville having just settled on the blocks in drydock following the disastrous collision with Japanese school ship Ehime Maru.

Image
The Greeneville was built OOB, but the Pit Road drydock required extensive modification to be suitable for the vignette.

Image
Weathering and damage to Greeneville was done with acrylic paint, enamel wash, oil paint, and dry pigment.

Image
PE figures from Eduard and PE railing from Fly Hawk were used to add detail to the dock.
