Love the lighting, but the decal work...not so much. Lots of silvering there you might want to take care of, did you put down a gloss coat before their application?

Oh dear. One thing you do not do before applying decals is apply a matte coat. That's what caused your silvering right there (silvering is caused when air bubbles are trapped beneath the carrier film), and why you should use a gloss coat before application. For large decals, it also helps immeasurably to use some sort of setting solution.

A shot of gloss clear followed by clear matte might alleviate the silvering, but it might not. Hopefully that works for you (make sure to take the model off its base first, if you can).

I applied gloss varnish before the decals and applied microset and Microsol...and in the end then matt varnish. But still the result has not been very good :)

Oh, I see now.

Well, all I can think to suggest (someone else may know more), is to apply another gloss coat then matte varnish, that might help.

Goodwood,...hey bro  ...more than likely its those dang thick revell decals giving him the problems.

Great advice GW gave about decal applications for any one new to modeling or ship building or what have you.
A word of encouragement here camponubla,...thats a very swell build you got there mate. Sorry about the decals...they can be a bugger at times though.....let me say just one more here if I may; I like the interior lighting you provided,...do you think maybe you could do a SHORT pictorial , or build log to help out newbie's or others who may never thought to include lighting?
I'm sure there are many who read here but maybe not post or sign up that could use a good "how-To" on such style items many of us take for granted.

By the way......nice build there mate. :thumbs_up_1:

Thanks!

I´ve posted some pictures of the buid process in the "works in progress". Concerning the leds I used four 3V led (size: 3 mm). I've used the polimeter and the real voltage of these RED leds is 1,9 V. I welded each 40 ohms resistance in each led. About the battery, I usde 2 AA batteries connected in "series" (1,5V+1,5V = 3V) and I conneted the leds in "paralel". With this type of connection if one led fails, the other leds still working.
