Outstanding job on the Yamashiro, Jose.

I only wish someone would release a 1/350 Fuso or Yamashiro. A battleship with 6 turrets must be built.

Thank you fellows.

Serhan the biggest headache i had was when i started assembling the pagoda mast, my advice is take your time on this one  the entire P.E set looked pretty sturdy to me but i also dealt with very delicate pieces.

I got to finish a few things on the pagoda yesterday, i can say it's been a long way... i had to take the whole thing apart and then get rid off the old paint. The trickiest thing of all was adding Flyhawk's p.e i had to do some extra filling since this p.e set was never designed for the Hi-Mold kits but all came out better than i hoped for, sometimes you got to take some risks and just go for it.

Thank you very much fellows! i hope i can finish it before the end of the month.

Silent one, regarding your question i used a 0.5 mm styrene rod then i cut it in pieces no bigger than “4 millimeters”. After this i always try to glue them in 2 or 3 pairs, its simple to work with them all together instead of doing one at a time and with my ruler holding the pairs down i shape them with an X blade. i trim both ends with the blade, you don’t want to have sharpen stakes to kill vampires with  blunt ends would be just fine. hth

I don’t know why i missed Fuso’s build up, i’ve been to that page a bunch of times already checking on the Nagato one.

thanks Chuck!

Yamato stills on hold i wish i could give it the green light though  i really haven't done much since those last pics i took from the bridge. Fuso is more than half way done now and i don't dont want to put it off, after this i got another plan. regrettably, is not Yamato either but as soon as i get back to the big girl i'll make sure of giving you a ring.

I give you a heads up Chuck it's my old Tone from Minekaze. can't wait to start on her i recently bought Flyhawk's Takao super set which i intend to use on her.

It’s been quite a challenge so far i really tried to finish her before the end of the year but i couldn’t, i’ve been working on her for the last 3 days nonstop maybe if I had cut off some corners like details.. nah i doubt it though i came short on Niko's 25 mm AA i bought and i’m also running out of railing. I didn’t want to post anymore pics until she was done oh well. I got tired of smearing and redoing the boot topping that’s why you are seeing yellow tape on the hull, good thing about this is that you always learn new tricks down the way too bad you got to hit the ground a couple of times before getting there

She is done!!! It did take me longer than i had anticipated though, i could say I’m done all i got to do now is place her next to Yamashiro and voila but after working constantly on her for 10 hours during the weekend my mind is exhausted i’ll get back to her in a week, enjoy the shots.

WOW Jose, very impressive job :thumbs_up_1:

I bet your rigging, a very complete and realistic one by the way, was a nightmare to make

Bravo Zulu from another Fuso "nuts"
