A little preview of my latest completed model. Fairmile by WEM, Sunderland by L'Arsenal.
For some reason I had the bright idea to remove every detail above the hull of the Fairmile (except the main superstructure) and replace it with scratchbuilt detail according to to Fairmile AOTS book. It was a masochistic decision, but now it's done I like the result.
It was also my first attempt to use the stretched sprue rigging method as opposed to my usual monofilament. It was easier than expected, and I'll be using it again.
