I had a lot of fun with this build but I am eager to get back to working on my big cruiser. Thanks to all of you who took the journey with me and thanks for the suggestions, help, and praise! Aw right, on to the Prinz Eugen! Happy modeling!
Mark

Great work! Definitely an improvement in terms of weathering, I can see you started making her cleaner and cleaner as you went along, and it looks a whole lot better than your earlier efforts. In fact, the weathering pattern is quite typical for ships in wartime. The easily accessed superstructure would be kept near pristine while the hull would not be repainted as often and would show more wear. The rigging is good too, and the PE is crisp and clear (ie not gunked up with paint and glue...) Overall, a fantastic build, especially for someone who hasn't built many ships. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :wave_1:

I like it. Agree with Avery's comments about the weathering as well. These were pretty big Destroyers, so it's interesting how much bigger the Prinz Eugen is than her, illustrating how big those ships were.

So what's next - Admiral Hipper?

Nice Work, the weathering really makes the details stand out.
