The cameras working again,so here is a pic of the FM-2`s,and also one of the Hasegawa TBF`s,which took about an hour to make, the parts in my example had a very bad fit, also there were no location tabs for the horizontal tailplanes, only a vague raised part ,which was as much use as a chocolate fireguard.I think they are also overscale ,but I`ll have to check that out.

Cheers Phil

These are pics of the completed model,I will take some more pics when the light is better. Is the kit worth the £230 ? I don`t think so,if Hasegawa decide to produce another Allied vessel ,I shall have to think long and hard as to whether I`ll buy it.Nevertheless I enjoyed building it,and I`m please with the result .

cheers Phil

Outstanding build Phil! I wish I could get em done even 1/3 as fast. I would suspect that moving that fast sort of feeds on itself. The instant gratification drives one to do even more, faster. At any rate I have a question. In the photos, the hull plating lines seem to be overly thick. What are your thoughts on this, and if one wanted to sand them down a bit, is the material soft enough to make that feasible?

Again, just a terrific build! You did her proud!

Hi Joe ,
Many thanks for the comments, yup ,I was tempted to sand down the plating lines,I think Hasegawa have over done them, but it may have created more problems than it solved.I have to maintain a fast building rate ,its in my nature,if I slow up ,I seem to get bogged down, which slows me up even more. It`s
a bit like riding a bicycle ,keep pedalling or fall off!!

Cheers Phil
