My attempt at a realistic seascape, using acrylic modeling media.

This was a very simple build, using half the kit hull, set in a polystyrene block with holes carved for the shape of the distinctive wake. I added a couple of Eduard PE figures in the bridge painted with Vallejo Fluorescent Red.

The sea was painted in acrylics from a school paint set! I put Liquitex gloss gel on top and highlighted waves in white oil paint.

I've only just started making ships - this is my third completed maritime model. Yep - I'm hooked!

Thanks, LL

Your seascape looks great, especially in the shots with the sun reflecting off the water. Nice job!
