That is a beautiful model! Very well done, and VERY impressive for 1/700 scale! Bravo!

Thank you.

I'll try to do even better on the next ship  (a IJN Takao or USS San Francisco)

Very impressive, JaM. I did her in 1/350 and I can't even imagine working with that PE in 1/700. Great job!
Interesting coincidence, too. I've also got San Francisco (1942) on deck. I'll be doing her in 1/350 (middle aged eyes and hands just don't work in 1/700) and I assume you'll be doing yours in 1/700. I'll be looking forward to seeing her.

Thank you Bob.

I love to work with photoetched parts, and fortunately my eyes are still good

Actually I'm working on a Trumpeter 1/35 Centauro, the italian wheeled tank destroyer (with a lot of PE from Voyager Models  ), I've started it last year but then I put it apart to work on the Laffey (which I've started in december).

I think I'll start next ship within some months (in 1/700... I don't have space for 350 ships  )

Matteo, I checked out your personal page and I'm even more impressed than before. That is some of the cleanest PE work I've ever seen! I can't come close to that kind of work in 1/350, let alone 1/700. I doff my cap, sir!

I hope when you start on San Francisco you'll share some WIP photos with us.
