I rarely ever look at or care for 1/700 scale ships because they're just too small to show the level of detail that I enjoy. This build, however, blows me away. The level of detail is phenomenal and would be considered exceptional on a 1/350 or larger scale. Things like the open access hatch on the 76 mm gun, the wood trim on the bridge, corrected side windows on the bridge, pulleys on the small davits, and a thousand other tiny items had me examining the photos for a long, enjoyable time. Thanks for sharing! Some of the details are a bit overscale but that's the nature of the beast in 1/700 and I'd much rather see them then have them left off.

Wow!!

WOW!!

This build sets a new standard for adding detail to these 1/700 DRAGON kits. I'm going to have to strive to do such with my future builds. This model will be a reference source for many of us, in the future.

Great Job!! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Fantastic build!! I loved the "steel beach" cook out, great touch. I spent 9yrs on FFG's and your work is one of the best. I only hope my 1/350 OHP turns out as good

Hi,

your Simpson comes out really nice. You did a lot of extra work on your modell and I like to look to all the photos to find out all the fine details.

Well done :thumbs_up_1:
