I came across this while searching for something else.
Might be a good project if I can get a couple of KGV kits cheap:

You can do that if just get two 1/700 HMS Duke of York kits from Revell Germany which are usually cheaper than KGVs from Tamiya.

For example here in Vancouver where I am, the HMS Duke of York costs 23 dollars Canadian, while it costs 29.99 CDN for KGV and around 42-43 dollars CDN for Tamiya's Prince of Wales.

Not sure how that compares to prices for the same kits you usually find in the UK.

I meant in 1/350 scale. I hadn't thought of 1/700 but that is a possibility, thanks.

From the drawing, it looks like a modified Vanguard, but in the photoshopped photo it is a modified KGV. Either one is interesting! :cool_1: But unfortunately there is no kit of the Vanguard in 1/350. I really like the ship...
