Hi all, does anyone know what colours were used on Tirpitz final camo? i assume the hull was Dunkelgrau 2 but not sure about the superstructure.

Like Scharnhorst's final camouflage scheme I am not sure it is definitively known what the exact colours were?

This book shows it as a very dark grey hull and light grey upperworks but does not give any specific colour references:

This book shows it as a very dark blue-ish grey hull and light grey upperworks. But it cautions that there are no known colour photographs of the scheme so 'the colours used remain speculative':

So I'd say you have some leeway as regards the colours? Unless anyone out there knows anything to the contrary and has colour photographs or written evidence of an order for any particular colours to be used?
