I am glad I found this site! The photos of the North Carolina will be a big help. I thought the gun carriages were that odd pinkish red that they are on the Constitution? I have already painted mine that color, or as close as I can match it. My Pennsylvania is in 1/72 scale. I am about 4/5ths done with the hull, spar deck furniture, head rails and stern galleries. I am a complete novice at carving, so the fancy work on her stern is going to be tough. I could post some photos if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like so far. This is my first scratch build, so I hope you guys will take it easy on me!

Greetings:

I like the work you've done on your model!! I'm guessing its a plank on frame effort. Where did you get a set of plans for it? I was once thinking of doing her also and someone referred me to the Maryland Silver Co. which sells a set for her. Please post more pictures of your work.

Sincerely

Michael Lacey

I have many more postings in the "Works in Progress" Thread. Check them out if you are so inclined!

Thanks, Greg

Look under "picture posts" then "works in progress". In case you can't find my main post site!
