It would certainly be something different than most of the kits we usually see here so it would be very welcome.

I swear I've seen this pic somewhere before, But judging from the pic I'm guessing it's a foreign navy? Almost looks like a non-angled flattop with modern deck lines. Spanish navy?
Just a guess. :wave_1:

CVS-18 or CVS-12. That's a Essex deck.

Definitely late '50s early '60s Essex-class carrier. Which one, I really can't say.

Keep guessing guys, at this rate i may have finished her by the time you get it  :heh:  :thumbs_up_1:

I may give a clue or two laters :heh:

Ok Fun over :cry_3: Mark got it :thumbs_up_1:

USS Lake Champlain CVS-39, SCB-27A never underwent the 125 conversion, as far as i am aware, she was the only one to have the Angled deck markings on an Axial deck.

Happy modeling

John

I answered it on another post so I will provide a hint.

All of the other modified Essex Class did not get S-2s before they got Angled decks.

   .......................... ....................................... :faint:

God Luck!

That s an easy one guys It is the only Essex class that received SCB-27 and not SCB-125.
