Finally managed to finish another one! An effort (mentally) every step of the way!

It's fantastic, as usual!

Would love to see more views, particularly from the sea level looking up!

Veeery beautiful indeed!!! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

I would also love to see some more photo's. Also some detail shots, especially from sails, rigging and seascape. I suspect your models can take it! :)

Cheers,

Marijn

Thanks,
They do not look all that good close-up. It shows up all the errors and bad bits. They are not meant to be viewed close-up anyway. They are supposed to be viewed from a couple of feet away as a whole. Perfect miniatures may fetch $10,000 or more, but I am at the other end of the range of only a few hundred dollars.

Thanks Jim,
No, can't say that I have recovered. I have been building it since September, often having weeks off between working on it.
I was glad when it was completed. Declared it finished on Wednesday, sold it to someone in the US who saw it on my blog on Thursday. I will be sorry to see it go so soon though!
Wrote a book between building spells on the Mary Isabel, nothing to do with ship models, but it made a great change and kept me busy, and I enjoyed it. Also worked on a model log cabin (Alaska 1898) that again was a pleasant change.
Bob
