Here is my 1/87 scale Orca. Built from a custom-cast resin hull, with a styrene sheet plastic superstructure. Almost everything is scratch-built down to the cast three-bladed prop. The shark cage is made from some off-the-shelf eteched steel gratings. The hull is 110 mm long. I still need to accessorize my boat with a crew: a grumpy skipper, a frustrated marine biologist and a dogged police chief. if you have a suggestion where I can find suitable 1/87 scale people, please let me know. I have looked at Preiser, Woodland Scenics etc without much luck. I found some fishermen that could be modified.

That vessel is much too clean to be ORCA.

As far as crew goes, you're going to have to find three men, two of which have appear to have a decent amount of curly hair: Quint and Hooper. Chief Brody is the thinner, lankier of the three. I'll be on the lookout...

Great job on the nameplate on the transom. Same style lettering as from the actual movie boat. :cool_1:
