This is conversion using Revell 1/144 Snowberry as donor kit, with some scratchbuilding. HMCS Wetaskiwin as she would have looked in 1941:

Great subject for a model.
The model looks good and the camo is very different.
Did this ship operate in cold waters with ice in the water?

Great to see her completed! Really nice job with the conversion, and so unusual to see a two-masted Flower with dazzle camo.

A bit of artistic license. But there is a photo of Kamloops in 1942 with 2 masts and Western Approaches camo https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... C-2445.jpg And I just found the Western Approaches job a lot more attractive than overall gray. I was considering painting the "Wet Ass Queen" shield art, and the "Barber Pole Squadron" striping on the funnel, but I believe these came later than my time frame. Best keep my anomalies to a minimum! On retrospect, I may have to switch out the pom-pom for the twin Lewis. :wave_1:

North Atlantic convoys. So it was cold with occasional ice. :wave_1:
