Great subject for a model. The model looks good and the camo is very different. Did this ship operate in cold waters with ice in the water? |

Great to see her completed! Really nice job with the conversion, and so unusual to see a two-masted Flower with dazzle camo. |

But there is a photo of Kamloops in 1942 with 2 masts and Western Approaches camo https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... C-2445.jpg And I just found the Western Approaches job a lot more attractive than overall gray. I was considering painting the "Wet Ass Queen" shield art, and the "Barber Pole Squadron" striping on the funnel, but I believe these came later than my time frame. Best keep my anomalies to a minimum! On retrospect, I may have to switch out the pom-pom for the twin Lewis. ![]() |
