With the Webmaster's submission, I'd like to say to the unnamed maufacturer:

"None of the above, thank you very much."

Warspite, Queen Elizabeth . . . then anything from the period 1890-1920.

I am sure others agree....

Seems like there's no "other" as for the parallel thread. What about Renown then, eh? Is she to be ignored? Ignored, I ask? <pshawwww> A canna believe it!

I voted for CV-6 Enterprise. I would prefer a Midway era one but no matter which era produced make it correct for that era,like no need to splice the island from another kit or cut up and reshape the bow. If limited to WWII era BB any of the rebuilt Pearl vets or a Litterio class to set next to the Rechelieu I just picked up.

That being said I would love to see WWI era dreadnaught in plastic such as Von Der Tann, Baden or HMS Dreadnaught herself. Wing or staggered turrets are a plus.

No matter which one is made PLEASE for the $25-$35 plus asked for it make it correct for the era modeled and not a Frankenstein with a amalgation of features from different periods of the vessel's life.

The evident positive groundswell for Trumpter's new Richeleiu should give hope that somebody will do a Vittorio Veneto or Roma in plastic 1/700 waterline.

I voted for the USS Alaska simply because of how unique the two ships of the class were, and as far as I know, there is NO comercially available Alaska in plastic in ANY scale.

I vote for:

USN Brooklyn/St. Louis class light cruisers;
HMS Ark Royal (the old one, from WW2);
USN oilers/replenishment ships both WW2 and modern at a reasonable price.

Best regards,

Paulo Roberto

I voted for the Alaska, just because it's a "cruiser" with big guns, and I love that idea.

Others would be:

USS Montana - the Other USN ship I'd love to build.

RN Andrea Doria - Too beautiful not to want to build.

1941 DKM Deutschland and Admiral Scheer - ATLANTIC BOWS PLEASE! *grumble*

DKM Graf Zepplin - They only built one, and I'd Love to have her in actual 1/700, not 720. I can't bear the thought of building her just Slightly off scale with the rest of my KM builds.

H-39 Class might be going above and beyond, but hey, I'm asking for the Montana, why the hell not.

And I don't know, some of the other outlandish warships from the beautiful end of the Battleship Era, for god's sakes. Carrier lovers have been well treated for too damn long, give us more big guns!

And maybe a Koln or Konigsberg might be nice. Spahkreuzer anybody?
