CVN-65 first.
The old Revell off-scale kit just dosen't cut it, and it's service from '61 to now should give a huge base of modlers and crew members to draw sales from.

This model is missing from a 1980's Battle group I'm building. I'd buy it immediately.

I've have wanted to see a rebuilt big 5 since the dawn of time - I'm a huge fan of the rebuilt West Virginia, with California right behind it.

Warspite. One of the most unsung but important ships ever to serve anywhere at any time.

Rebuilt Essex (SCB125) has been overdue for 40 years, but, as I like building groups, this would also open the need for converted CGs.

I cannot get thrilled about any of these choices.

-I would like to see a Brooklyn class cruiser, so I can finally get around to having the General Belgrano.

-A Colossus class carrier

-USS Langley CV-4

-USS Ranger CV-4

-USS Texas BB-35, can't help myself, I REALLY like that ship.

......how about the Queens?

As in, Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth - the ocean liners - in their WW2 armed troopship configuration. Long overdue as kits, IMHO, and manageable size-wise in 1/700 scale.

being a carrier nut I voted Forrestal, but really my more preferred wants are not listed.

HMS Ark Royal 1970-1978 (Phantomised fit).
HMS Hermes 1982.
USS John F Kennedy.
FNS Clemeceau, Foch, and mostly Charles de Gaulle.
Vietnam era Essex class (seems to be coming...)
Final-fit Midway and Coral Sea.

And someone please release an accurate island for the Current-fit Enterprise and a correct-length island for the Italeri Reagan...............
That's all these models need that I can't scratchbuild....

I would love to see a rebuilt Tennessee/California or West Virginia in plastic in 1/700 scale. That's been something I have wanted for as long as I have been building models - 40+ years.

- USS Brooklyn class CL
- RN Town Class Cruisers
- HMS Exeter (If Tamiya's doing Malay campaign ships, could IJN conquests of the Java campaign be much further behind?)
- USS Northampton class CA
- A decent injection molded Kreigsmarine destroyer. Any class. ANYBODY! For the love of god please!

I would just Love to see a manufacturer step out of the conventional, and put in plastic, one of the what if designs... maybe put out a Plan Z line... but I'm probably hallucinating some more.
