I feel that these were a little "tight" to remove easily. I did 90% of the job bu cutting with flush cutters twice - once to free them from the sprue, and then another from the side to get as flat as possible before cleaning up with an Xacto.

Parts E26 (total of 4 between two trees) are skylights on the central superstructure.

What's the consensus of what year this ship is modeled in? If 1917 it should be Grazhdanin not Tsesarevich.

The initial release is more correct for late lifetime service. They've since come out with a dedicated "1905" version that I have but haven't started. It does contain some of the pieces that the 1917 kit misses, but I haven't done an exhaustive review yet to see if it fixes "all" of the problems.

Aside these some minor errors on kit ... is it correct that until now no one made any set for the Tsesarevich until now?
I found only gun barrel set of masters and the wooden deck from ArtWox after an hour search, but no PE set for example... :woo_hoo:

I haven't heard of any. The curved inclined ladders under her bridge are going to be a PITA to scratch build....

That is very strange and not normal that no one is doing anything as set to this ship....

North Star does two different sets for Sevastopol. It may not be specific to Marat, but they were sister ships, so I'd think there would be a lot that would work for both.

This is in reference to the post concerning the midship gun shutters (partsK8 and K14). The parts are actually a little two long. One way to solve the fit problem is the cut the two part in half and remove some of the excess plastic. Leave a little of the tab at the bottom on each half. Test fit the two halves until you have removed the right amount of plastic. Then you should be able to glue the two pieces into place using the tab at the bottom as a guide. Only took me about three minutes per side but fits perfectly. Hope this helps.
