Today I got home and had a package on my doorstep from Shapeways. I eagerly opened it and pulled out the parts. These are fantastic! Much, much better than the highly inaccurate kit parts. I've checked them against the plans I have and they look spot on. Everything is finely molded/printed and the detail looks excellent. It is kind of hard to see due to the color of the frosted plastic used, so hopefully you can see what I mean about how awesome these are from the pictures. I also Steve's Shapeways store. I purchased the funnel too and will add it to this review after it comes.

Each level of the superstructure clicks right onto the one below it and they fit perfectly. A continuous hole goes through each level for the forward leg of the mast, which is accurate and will help with alignment of the levels and onto the 01 deck. My only real complaint is that there are no flag bags molded/printed onto the rear of the bottom most level.

I tried to take some comparison pictures of these parts compared to the kit parts. The kit parts are a little better than out of the box, though, because I had rebuilt the deck houses. Even so these ModelMonkey parts are still better than what I accomplished. I bet after a coat of paint these parts will look even better. Here's to hoping Steve continues to take the time and provide us with amazing accessories and accurization parts such as these.

Hi all again, I got my 1/350 Arizona funnel today, boy is this thing amazing! The funnel comes in two parts, the funnel and the machine gun platform. They are finely printed/cast. The funnel is completely hollow and has the correct shapes. A definite improvement over the kit parts.
