Looks like the CiC is going to be upset again. I can't see passing these up. I'm trying to put a crew on a 1/350 scale USS Bennington. These look perfect. :thumbs_up_1:

I would also enjoy AA crews, but I would prefere more relaxed positions than for example the Fujimi ones. If not in immediate danger, crews try to find a bit more relaxed positions close to their battle station. To me, those would be a lot more useful for manning my ships. :)

I apologize for the slight delay with the release of the figures. These kind of poses are very complicated and because of that we spent a lot of time to experiment of making sets the way modelers could separate the figure from the platform.
The final version of the set will look like this (1/350 - US crew, and 1/200 scale, for 1/200 two sets on photo - German and USA):

These 1/200 scale figures in particular will make me rethink building full hull the new Bismarck.I cant imagine the size of waterlined Bismarck base.

I am really impressed by these pictures! I will have to buy a kit to use the US figures on.
Looking forward to the Royal Navy figures.

These figures definitely are a great improvement over everything else. I would suggest issuing several sets to avoid a set of crew both in action (carrying shells), swabbing the decks or posing for photographs plus bridge crew behind binocular stands. I feel it now is too much of a mixed bag.

- Main set with crew standing/hanging about, using binoculars, walking about, standing, climbing stairs. (General set)

- Crew manning anti-aircraft guns and rangefinders, carrying shells etc. (Action set)

- Aircraft carrier crew preparing for a launch (Carrier set)

- Crew posting for group shots, swabbing the deck, carrying supplies (At ease set)

For the current set you can use about 25% for a ship at sea or in action. I also think it would be more useful to first finish a series of USN sets before starting other navies (even though I need Royal Navy only... ).

Just 2 questions:

1. Is there something wrong with your website? I tried accessing 'northstarmodels.com' and keep getting a cannot display error message.

2. Are these figures available in Australia?

From the pics in this thread the figures look by the far the best 1/350 scale going around.

Thanks

Where can I order them?

Thanks for the info litvin70.

Unfortunately, when I click on the link it seems to take me to an error page written in Russian. I can navigate to the opening page for the website but my Russian is a little scratchy to say the least and my computer's translation software has trouble translating Russian into an understandable form of English.
