Chuanyu Models appears to be doing many of the hypothetical ships from the immensely popular World of Warships game. I fail to see how it doesn't "look Italian" considering:

* Turrets are a mix of Roma's main triples and typical Italian heavy cruiser design.
* Hull form is very Italian
* Secondaries are mounted in a quite Italian way.
* Bridge structure resembles late Italian cruisers. I see a lot of Zara-class influence.
* Funnel design? Couldn't be more Italian.

These ships aren't always my cup of tea, but they're bringing younger folks into the world of ship modeling. I find KanColle repulsive, but again, new modelers. Frankly, I'd take a dozen "what if's" over another boring Yamato or the Teutonic Horror.

This is definitely a What-If.
I'd rather buy the Oyodo.
