Akizuki was smashed by the removalist-this way up, fragile meant nothing to the illiterate
moving that box
took 6 weeks to fix her

Kirishima is beautiful, and you have appropriately posted on the 81st anniversaries of the 1st and 2nd Naval Battles of Guadalcanal. Great video.

Shame about Akizuki.

Akizuki ESC failed, and I hate that boat!
half a boat rebuild to get at it and re do it

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
(and she was badly damaged coming home from last sail..............buggar)

Bad luck mate!! I had my USS Seawolf SSN21 all tested and working for our weekend at Naracoorte and the small servo that opens the vent valve to allow it to dive failed within about 5 mins!!

with your destroyer I would locate your electronics on an easily removable board to make things simpler. Those WW2 ships have tiny access areas due to the very small footprint of the upper structures.
