Re: *3D printed models* Upcoming Ship Releases
And so, after two months, I have received a hull of a Carlos V, a full Francesco Carraciolo kit which I did not order either and no Devastation.
They arrived three weeks ago and the seller did not react at all to my messages. If anyone who ordered Francesco Carraciolo has received a Devastation we might swap them. I have an old WSW Maria Teresa in my stash so Carlos V might actually get build. Otherwise I think ordering from this trader is bit of a gamble.
"
Thanks Lars for wading through all the WorldofWarships slop and casio watches on ebay so we mortals don't have to.
I have ordered Devastation, will report back somewhere next year.

This is a little off to the side from the kind of input you were seeking, I suspect, but I would love it if some 3D outfit started offering, as an aftermarket upgrade, underhulls compatible with 1/700-scale kits that are available only in waterline form. Off the top of my head, I can think of six that I'd buy, and then squirrel away against the day when the kits to go with them came within reach:ModelFunShipyard wrote: Tue Jan 13, 2026 8:01 am Aside from the obligatory Nelson class that everybody wants (and a brand new one has just been released by 3D-Wild), I would really be interested to know in what the modellers here would like to see.
Trumpeter's Texas and Alaska
Vee Hobby's Worcester and Brooklyn-class
Flyhawk's Agincourt and Invincible
(It'd be nice if the underhulls came with stands, too, for those of us with no aptitude as woodworkers.)

Re: *3D printed models* Upcoming Ship Releases
there is a problem with the Leahy model as it shows it having wooden decks on both the main & upper decks & maybe same with the Little Rock model.

While its likely to be a NO from anyone doing the work on this, I would too support stuff like lower hulls on Texas etc. But we may wait long time.El Santo wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 11:53 amThis is a little off to the side from the kind of input you were seeking, I suspect, but I would love it if some 3D outfit started offering, as an aftermarket upgrade, underhulls compatible with 1/700-scale kits that are available only in waterline form. @El Santo @pascalemod I've done a few such lower hulls in the past for Kraken. One of them is for the New York class: https://krakenhobbies.com/shop/ols/prod ... lower-hull
You may need to do a bit of filling and trimming to make it fit perfectly on a plastic model, but seems like you're not the only ones asking for such things, because these were made quite long ago at the request of other customers.

There is a hull for the Flyhawk Agincourt already available, and while I cannot find the name of the company, I can give the name as it appears in a model store: "CY700068 1/700 Ship Bottom Upgrade Part for Flyhawk FH1310S HMS Agincourt Ship."pascalemod wrote: Sun Mar 08, 2026 12:27 pmWhile its likely to be a NO from anyone doing the work on this, I would too support stuff like lower hulls on Texas etc. But we may wait long time.El Santo wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 11:53 am

I originally found this at an Australian model store, though then unavailable, and recently (today) found it at a Chinese store here, https://www.buyscalemodel.com/products/ ... 5386324.11.
I have found this to be a good store to deal with.
Hope this helps.

Moderator Note:
The company is called ChuanYu Model Ship (川渝模型船). The company produces quite a number of 1/200, 1/350, and 1/700 products, and often distribute these through other companies. A case in point is the 3D-Wild 1/350 HMS Vanguard.
