I am not a chemist, but polyethylene is not a material most CA works on (hence the polyethylene nozzles on most CA tubes). However, as it is altered substantially in its molecular chains, I am uncertain if this holds true with polyethylene teraphthalate.

Check your mail order houses for Evergreen. Midwest also makes styrene. You can call Evergreen to see who is a distributor in your area. They are very nice and helpful people. Don't know their number, but they're based in Woodenville, WA.

It may well work, but I would think you would still have a problem getting paint to adhere to it.

I would find another source for your evergreen. You should be able to get it mail order.

Cheers,

Hmmm...

Made soft sandpapering on PETG before any glue (cyanoacrylate) or paint.
