Need some help

Post by usna93 »

Hello there,

New to the sight - I just got back into the hobby and loved building 1/700 scale when I was younger. I guess I was pretty good w/ airbrush, detailing, ect... but never added PE or rigging and would like to learn how to do that.

I live in a very rural area so I don't have access to a good hobby shop and would like to get pointed in the right direction.

Is there a site that has how to's on PE and rigging, or is there a book, magazine that I could get...

Thanks in advance for any help...

Gold Medal Models had a book on the subject, but I don't know if it's still available. Mike Ashley's book on building ship models covers it and Flagship Models offers a CD.
Any ship larger than a Destroyer is a waste of metal.

the above mentioned book & CD are well worth a look at plus take a look at the article on rigging in the how to section of this sight
