I have the vertical superstructures , turret , and hull just the way I want it on my rebuilt West Virginia. If it were you, and the mold cost would be about $50 investment, would you cast it all?
I keep thinking that since California and Tennesee 'and' west Virginia were so similar but each had a distinctive dazzle scheme Im likely to want them all.
benifits:
symetry between ships
three kits from h-p total about $375
Cost benifit casting Q

I say go for it, just have the twin turrets on WV and you'll be all set

Dito - go for it.
Since I started molding I try to mold EVERYTHING. Even if I think I would only need it two times. Who knows what's coming up in 10 years? You or others might need the stuff then.
It often happened to me that I was able to modify previously casted items and get a new piece of superstructure.

Moulding is quite easy. Please take a look at my report of building SMS B-110, there you find several descriptions of how to make a mould easy and cast. If you have any further questions, ask. I think my method is simple and produces very good parts.
