I was going to do another Carrier after I have finished the Marlborough ( Colossus Class, H.M.S. Triumph one of my old ships, but as she was when a Carrier ) but the dry dock is getting a bit cramped for space, with all these large models I have so far. :heh:

So I might have a go at a smaller destroyer or frigate in 1/96 or maybe 1/72 instead. I eventually want to build a type 12 and type 14 Frigate ( Whitby & Blackwood Classes) as I served on both of these types when I was in the Andrew. ( H.M.S. Rhyl & H.M.S. Palliser ). :thumbs_up_1:

I also have a set of plans for a Daring Class in 1/96( circa 1950s) and a PT Boat in 1/24, so these two may get started on, some time in the future. I also have a set of plans which Ron has loaned me, of the Navy Tug Royston in 1/48 but I am a bit undecided about this one at the moment.

Hi Geoff I trust you have recovered from last Sunday and good to see that you have given a re-start date on the Malborough , which should be in time for next years Kingsbury Gray ships day.

Yes Dave, just about. It was a great day and I think we are all pleased that it reached above our expectations for a first time event of this kind. Let's hope next year will be even better and hopefully, Marlborough will be there too.

I want to build the Type 14 too, although I never served on one I have a lot of memories of the Russell when she was Harbour Training Ship and it certainly a unique looking ship with those flying gantries and long bare bow!

Keeping the build top of the list. This is a great example of working with a fiberglass hull.

guys
i met geof at this years kingsbury what a nice chap even if he is into ride on railways now.
he has not done anymore work on the vic since his last posts.

He was posting on another site the Marlborough build, when he knew I was on he stopped posting, has not been back since, says his computer has gone down.

ARH may know of a way to get ahold of him, but I've tried emailing him with no reply... he didn't even open the message, so he probably doesn't use the account anymore.

Kenny, without access to the account you're sending to, there's just no way to know whether someone even gets an email, let alone opens it or not.
