Glue Problems, How can I...?

Post by Jadefalcon0 »

Hey guys,

I recently started another ship and I was attaching the deck to the hull. I accidentally used too much glue and it seeped over to the side. I removed it as quickly as possible but there is still a white stain left over from the glue drop (residue maybe?) I used Testor's tube glue. I tried using soap and water but that didnt help. Any idea how I can remove that stain? Im sure you guys know what I am talking about.

Hi.
Sorry for your ship.
For removing the glue, I would recommand scraping away the biggest stains with a sharp scalpel, and then finishing the work with sandpaper. Starting with 600 or 800 grit one, then 1000 or 1200.
It will require some time, but it works well.

thanks tom, I will have a it with 1000 grit sandpaper. It's not a big spot, just the thought of it "there" bothers me. Thanks :thumbs_up_1:

Not a big spot, but you know where it is, and you see it !
1000 grit is fine.
