I wanted to recommend a large punch and die set that Harbor Freight sells.
Lifetime Carbide 9 PC PUNCH AND DIE SET
The smallest size is 1/8", which is a bit large for most 1/350th and smaller ship use - except for maybe gun tub bottoms - but I've found it invaluable during the build of my 1/96th scale iron clad Weehawken. I just punched out some coaling scuttle covers and it works beautifully; precise and sharp edges.
I also noticed that Micro Mark is now selling a Micro Punch and Die Set that looks like a good successor to the old Waldron unit.

I think you can get the Waldron Set from Mission Models.
Any ship larger than a Destroyer is a waste of metal.

I wonder if they bought them out? Waldron went out of business a year or so ago.

Roll Models bought out the Waldron range.

Click the Searchable Catalog link and select Waldron as the manufacturer. For just the punch & die sets, also enter punch as the key word.

Historex also used to have a couple of sets. Don't know if they're still selling them.
