Re: HMS Roberts 1/700 Combrig - UPDATE IV
VERY VERY SHARP !
HMS Roberts- like Abercrombie-- had various pipes and gash shutes on the sides of the lower hull.
Will you add those later and touchpaint?

here is my old Abercrombie--forgive the poor photo quality--cameras ans know-how have moved on!

I assume you have the book BIG GUN MONITORS?--( the new one!)
if not--drop me an e-mail--I may be able to assist with images

Re: HMS Roberts 1/700 Combrig - UPDATE IV
Hi JIM!
unfortunately I forgot for these pipes and shutes just two months ago when I started (and I had that time only one photo with camo in some japanese book - and there these things were not so visible) and now is too late - Roberts is only waiting for flags. I have to live without this! But it is stupid mistake, I agree...
Cheers

Not quite as stupid as Petr Cech's last night though...DAVID BILEK wrote: But it is stupid mistake, I agree...

Lovely model, I can't imagine how you can manage to work so cleanly.

Probably last update before finish...

(you can see here optical effect with rigging - black wires look thicker than brown, althought both have the same diameter of 0,04mm)
To Mike - do not tell me more about our football team. It was not "unhappy" (as Czech newspapers wrote), it was really stupid disaster.
To Sean - I was never interested in monitors before (which resulted in mistake noticed by Jim...), but now I understand your cry for Roberts in your scale! Strange look and british beuaty!

Re: HMS Roberts 1/700 Combrig - FINISHED
I just finished her! HMS Roberts took two months and it was pleasure to work on such good resin kit from Kombrig.
Next step will be small dio - calm water, then I have to add figures, some tug and small ships.
