I just ordered this book on Abebooks, with some other stuff. The description was a little vague;
Book Description: 60pp, bibliography, index, 14 sketches (including vessel outlines) and maps in the text, in typescript. Monograph on ten predreadnought battleships built for the French Navy beginning in 1890 ("Charllemagne", "Gaulois", "St. Louis", "Suffern" and others), the backbone of the fleet for more than a decade; obsolete by 1910, six served effectively during World War I in the Dardenelles although three were sunk in combat Text in English.
Can someone tell me a little bit more on this work?
