This is Billing Boats' 1/35 kit (wood hull, metal and plastic detail parts) sold as "HMS Renown" which represents a 1900s Royal Navy 50-foot picket boat/steam pinnace.
I added a few scratchbuilt additions and modifications, including the steering cable, and replaced the plastic gun barrel in the kit with a homemade turned brass barrel (the gun is a Hotchkiss 3-pounder). I also painted the boat in the standard black scheme rather than the blue "admiral's barge" scheme suggested in the kit. The crew figure is a 1/32 metal casting from George Turner Models.
