Here u can see what i did.
I know it isnt alot.
But the handbook didnt show me quite good how to do it.
So i had to measure every single milimeter to fit it.
Now i got the half sheetpaper placed on the deck (i quess :P)
Im not quite happy actually.
The ronald reagan i made, fast done and looks fine.
But this is to shiny...
I can see myself almost in it.
How to fix this?

Keep up the good work!

Here is Antietam progressing along:

The Enterprise and her Air Group are comming along slowly. Those Yellow Wing Planes are kicking my butt! The Kitty Hawks Airwing is also moving along slowly.

Thanks Guys,
Sweet builds there Mark, great weathering on Antietams deck, i will weathering my decks later today, i am thinking of severely weathering Yorktown to match a pic i have seen, lots of flaked off paint showing her previous MS-21 camouflage beneath.

Happy Modeling

John

I got that weathering accidently!

I had just finnished spraying the Deck Stain #21 and as usuall got to much on there. A drop of water got on the deck as I was cleaning the airbrush. It created a spot through the Deck Stain so I let it dry and sanded it off. It was looking so good that I did the entire deck and there you have it.

My Antietam and penicilin. Who would have thunk it!

Well, after a couple of weeks of getting nowhere with Kuznetsov, I have shelved this project to avoid plastic/drywall interaction. Every single item I added to the hull needed putty and sanding. I really need to work on something I can make substantial progress on, so once again, I am working on another project. As much as I want to get this ship built, the sanding and refilling is getting monotonous. See you all soon.

Love the deck on the Antietam Mark! Also, your Enterprise air group is coming along very, very nicely!

John - I like your version of "Murderer's Row"!

Where do you guys find the time?!? I'm envious!
