Things are starting to shape up:

Still a LOT of little details to add. Work has begun on the island and radar tower:

Re: 1/350 USS Truman
I went ahead with my idea of lighting up the island numbers with fiber-optics. It took some patience, but the result isn't too bad...

Really like the f/o lighting work - great idea and excellent workmanship.
Out of interest, what size cables did you use?

Thanks again guys, the positve comments keep me going
Luke, I'm honestly not sure what size the cables are, they came in a set I bought for sci-fi modelers and the size isn't listed.

Re: 1/350 USS Truman
I'm not sure if you're still building her or not but I recently went on a Friends and Family Day cruise on board HST and came back with some 600 odd photos. Lots of detail shots of the island, catwalks, hanger bay, deck equipment, CVW-3 Hornets and a Hawkeye, and a random unmarked SH-60 playing plane guard. The photos are all around 2.5 megs apiece and very high-res. It was even nice and overcast, with rain at times, so the sun didn't ruin the shots. If you would like any shots of certain areas let me know and I'll dig through the collection and send them to you. Shoot me a PM or e-mail if you think they'll help.
