Wow. This is remarkable. I can only hope that any kind of mast I am building for my USS Kentucky conversion could come out this cool.

This is remarkable. Keep the good work up!

It's not a model, it's pictures of the real ship. I was studying the starboard side profile of the island and I swear I saw a sailor walking along a railing....goosebumps.

Great work :thumbs_up_1:

I quoted on August the 8th
Another astonishing build Kelly, looks like it's going to be a big winner.
How prophetic.

I was depressed last night, so I rang lifeline. Got a call centre in
Afghanistan and told them I was suicidal.

They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.

Hi, thats a very nice pice of work. And because of that, im woundering if you could help me. I`ve just bought the USS Nimitz 1/350 from trumpeter. And as you know it comes in its 1975 fit. I would very much like to modernize it to around 2005 or higher. But i know absolutly nothing about scratchbuilding, so I was hopeing to get some instructions if its not to much trouble:). I whant to build all the sponsons, the domes, the hangardeck, weaponsstations and so on. I would realy be happy if you could

Thanks

Wow, what a model. Kelly, you sir are a master of ship models. :woo_hoo: This thing is out of this world. I just joined this site and after looking at your work I'm glad I found this site. I'm new to ship building stuff but I've already picked up couple of trick after reading just introduction to your build. :cool_1: I'm going to have to save it all so I can learn and apply toward my first carrier. If I can make mine 1/4 as good as yours I'll be pleased. Also, thank you for leaving your photographs up. :thumbs_up_1:
