Hi all,

Is there a definitive reference for USN heavy cruisers in WWII? Talking about San Francisco, Baltimore(Pittsburgh), Indianapolis classes or maybe individual references by class that can be recomennded?

Look on Amazon or any other online bookstore for "Cruisers of the US Navy 1922-1962" By: Stefan Terzibaschitsch. ISBN: 0-87021-974-X Covers EVERYTHING!!! It has deployment records, armament,sensor,aircraft breakdowns, time lines from building to scrapping, photos of EACH ship, and much, much more. Check your local library first, they should have a copy at least in the reference section if not for normal checkouts.

Excellent book if you can find it. Has everything from the Omaha's thru the Long Beach.
