Thanks to all and grazie to Giampiero!
For the next my model I'm looking for the draws to: Sperrbrecher 13 ex Minerva or for the liner Bremen. can someone help me?
Splendid work! Great entity, everything seems very "finished"; weather subtile and not too much, excellent colouring and of course nice structural work too! A museum piece which covers the working life of a merchant ship very well!
very well made model. My father is interested in building the Pinguin for a famous German Naval museum. Do you know by any chance where to get a more detailed plan (especially the sheer plan / profile). Could he call you, since he has no internet and is more interested in ships than computers (maybe a wise choice?).
Hallo Guest,
please send me by pm your e mail address, I can send you the draw I using to built the hull of my Pinguin.
I hope it can be useful for you...
I know this thread is old but I have a question about painting decks. It appears the model was constructed raw, with the vertical posts connecting decks. Later shots reveal a cleanly painted deck. How does one paint around those small vertical bits of plastic? It would seem to me that airbrushing would be difficult, due to the need to carefully mask the deck and the obstruction of the posts to the spray pattern of the paint. Were the decks hand painted?
