Naviga at Dortmund

I have been informed but not officially that the forthcoming Dortmund Intermodellbau will be hosting a Naviga championships? Can any one confirm this?

Hi Dave

Jean-Claude Cauty, a french international NAVIGA judge, has confirmed me this. I took a look at the NAVIGA site, but the last modification has been brought in 2009, no mention about the contest at Dortmund...

Thanks Laurent I'll soon know due to arrive at Dortmund on Wednesday morning . I really hope there is a naviga "C" class as there will be a number of truely amazing models to view and to photograph.

Just returned from Dortmund Intermodellbau and I'll have the a number of pictures of the Naviga worlds to Cadman ASAP.

Hi Dave,

I've heard from fellows modellers that Dortmund wasn't as good as previous years?

Hi Laurent Certainly the largest segment of the competition was period ships but the standard in the minatures especially from the Chinese was exceptional .
