Congratulations,
Mark, Carl and Bob on your great builds. You deserve the accolades you have received for your builds.
My Fletcher and I will cross the finish line sometime in the future.

I'm getting closer to finishing (just a little bit late, well, maybe just a littlie bit more than a little bit late) the USS Fletcher and getting my "Group Build" entry done. I need to add the rigging, flat coat, add the ship's boats and create the water and she will be done.

Re: Tin Can (DD/DE) Group Build!
Thanks Matt,
Well disaster struck yesterday morning when I put a flat coat on the Fletcher. The flat coat turned white, so I started repainting the ship with a brush and had got the area around the ship's numbers done when I thought about putting gloss coat over the flat coat. I picked out an area and brush painted on some gloss with great results. I then airbrushed a gloss coat on this morning.
The Fletcher is now rigged and ready for an other try at flat coating. I should have her done by the end of February.

The Fletcher is finally done. I have now fulfilled my commitment to the Group Build, just a little late.
