Looking for USS Utah class plans

Post by Laurent »

Hi all,

Planning my modelling life further on to, let's say, the year 2060 (at least) , I might be interested in one of those "cage masted" US battlewagons, the most handsome ships to me are the two Utah class vessels, USS Utah & USS Florida, second choice would be Wyoming/Arkansas.

As I'm mainly building at scale 1/100, I'd like to find a decent plans of them, with hull lines. I presume Floating Drydock (FD) would have a rigging plan/profile with all the deck views, but I also know that FD, most of the times, doesn't supply hull lines.

If anyone has a good hint, I'd be glad :thumbs_up_1:

Regards,

Wow! no one has any answer?

OK, no problem, I've found the USS Florida GA plan at the Floating Drydock, no hull lines for her, but they have the USS Texas hull stations, I'll buy both plans and check out what's compatible between both ships, and draw the hull lines for USS Florida/Utah as she was "as fitted" for her first commission.

Check e-bay for "Plans and Things"....they may have what you are looking for.

Do you have interest in any american :wave_1: ship covered by profile morskie issues?
Profile Morskie 6 has the USS California, with cage masts in 1936/1941.
