Dear Timothy Dyke,
There was a discussion on this forum concerning this kit and its various inaccuracies: wrong turrets, wrong superstructure, wrong splinter shields, wrong living quarters for royal tour, wrong portholes, bulkheads, masts and even wrong hull shape. Also was discussed the aftermarket products issued to create the1941 fit (apparently all new decks).
In the light of the above your positive review looks misleading, doesn't it?

Keep in mind that reviewers like Tim and Sean do only in-box reviews based on what they know and what they see - that is, unless they've extensively studied the vessels, they cannot realistically comment on anything other than the level of detail, basic accuracy, and kit design. Naturally, they also don't have time to trawl through every single thread on the forum to get a sense of the errors in the kit.

The goal of an in-box review is to show you what you are getting for your money. No one can be an expert on all subjects. Royal Navy is not one of the subjects that I spend a lot of time studying. That is why I set up this section of the forum, to let those who are in the know to add their comments. Feel free to make any comments that address specific pros and cons of the kit. Post a link to that section where the other comments have been made and perhaps a moderator will merge them into this thread. It may come as a shock, but I am unable to read every single post on this forum. I do try, but usually end up skimming over them looking to keep the food fights in check.

So read the review, and look at the pictures. I think I have taken enough to give you a good idea of what's in the kit.
