Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
Add to the list of 1/700 resin, the U.S.S. Whidbey Island LSD 41. Ships and Company has been working on this jewel for awhile. Hopefully March 2011 but like all resin productions that schedule may slip. Myself another two gators to my collection Whidbey Island and with some mods a Harpers Ferry. Good Luck Ships and Company and keep them coming...

More pics of the Orange Hobby Dokdo from their blog: http://www.orangehobby.com/logs/124135152.html
I guess you can contact them there to see where they plan on distributing the kit.

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
Just seen a fresh post in a russian forum from Combrig, that 1/350 Danton (WL only) and Hoche (WL and FH) would be released already this month, or latest next one, the kits already prepared, only waiting to print the instructions.

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
There doesn't seem to have been an update from Combrig since October. Anyone know when the 700 scale Hoche is to be released?

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
I read on another thread that Loose Cannon is doing a early WWII version of Texas and New York in 700 scale. Is there any amplifying info on that project? I have the Samek Texas but I would love to have an early WWII New York to go with her.
Thanks,
Mark

I was just perusing the Niko website and see that they've released a Java in 1/700 scale:

Is something wrong with Niko kits, in general?MichelB wrote:Just when I had decided to never buy another Niko kit! Darn!
I remember comment that their newly tooled Exeter has some off dimensions.

Nothing in general. Most people like their kits and I consider them a valuable addition to the hobby. But, personally, I'll have to be pursuaded extremely well to buy one, due to some personal complaints. But those are not for this thread.mopy wrote:Is something wrong with Niko kits, in general?MichelB wrote:Just when I had decided to never buy another Niko kit! Darn!

Java has to be a pretty good persuasion.
Hopefully we can get a De Ruyter soon too!

This are also interesting news, unfortunately the "wrong" scale (1/350):
Naval Cutter Speedy 1828
They have also Dutch torpedoboats:
